This page is definitely better than the old design. It would be good if you kept it.

The page is ugly and the other page is simpler

i like the tip of day

The old one is much more simple and straight forward. All students want to do is log in, not read the "tip of the day" or any other news!

This new design is more like the current style of webpages on the internet. It gives the website a MUCH more sophisticated look than the old page.

I love the idea of having news on the right hand side on the main page. The page looks so much more professional than the earlier version, and I would love to use this page all the time.

Keep it simple. Less image. The lighter the better.

this is a cool design, but please keep the address simple... http://www.webassign.net. I don't want to have to always change whether I have to type in /student.html, or /alt-student.html... so, as to the design.. keep it... but keep the address simple

I seriously do not know why any of you would want to change the main page. There is absolutely nothing wrong with the original design. The new design is more confusing and not pleasing to the eyes.
