Override the Current Score
When you override a score, the number you enter as the override score is the final and total score unless you change it again. All penalty, bonus, and assignment points you might have assigned are ignored when you override a score.
Even if a student changes his or her answers after you enter an override and the assignment points change, the score you entered as the override remains the same.
To override the current score:
Open the My Classes or ClassView
- For My Classes, click and find the section you want.
- For ClassView, click Jump to Class and select the section you want.
Click scores beside the assignment name.
The Scores page is displayed.
Click the student's score in the Total column.
The Adjust Score dialog is displayed.
- Click Override Score and enter the new score in the New Score box.
- If you want, add a note for your reference explaining the change in the Notes box.
The revised score is displayed with a red asterisk (*) on the right, indicating you changed the score.
