Review Student's Work

Before you decide whether or not to grant an extension, you might review your student's work on the assignment or in your class generally.

To review your student's work on one or more assignments:

  1. Click binoculars icon Search and select Student.
  2. Type part of your student's first or last name, and then click Go.

  3. In the Student Search page, click scores for the student and class you want to see.

    The Grades Summary page displays your student's assignment scores. These scores might include the following abbreviations:

    Abbreviation

    Meaning

    NA

    A numeric score was not entered for the assignment. Applies only to assignments with manually entered or uploaded scores.

    ND

    Student has not downloaded or viewed the assignment.

    NS

    Student has not submitted any responses for the assignment.

    EX

    Student is excused from the assignment.

    By default, only current and recent assignments are listed. Click Past, Future, or All to view other assignments.

  4. Optionally, click responses to see your student's responses for an assignment or click log info to see a log of all the activity for an assignment. 
    Tip:  
    • From an Ask Your Teacher message, you can click either View Responses or Assignment Activity Log to see information for your student.
    • From a Private Message, click Grades Summary to see information for your student.
    • To see a report of scores for a set of students or assignments, click Grades > Reports and select your class if needed. On the left side of the Reports Home page, select one or more assignments. On the right side of the page, select the students and then click Scores.
