Change Your Security Question

You can change the security question and answer for your Cengage account.

  1. Sign in to Cengage at

    Enter your Cengage email address (or username) and password. Then, click Sign In.

  2. At the top of the page, click Hello name > My Account.
  3. Select a security question from the list, and then type your answer to the security question.
  4. If you have not already done so, set any other required fields for your account.

    By default, student accounts are created without the following required fields, so you must set them the first time you update your account:

    • Security Question / Security Answer
    • School/Company/Institution
    • Time Zone
  5. Click Save Changes.
