Class Insights Analytics for a Student
With multiple submissions, online homework lets your students retry a problem until they figure out how to solve it. However, this means that homework scores often don't indicate how well your students understand the material.
A better predictor of your students' test performance is performance on the first attempt for each question part. Class Insights uses this criterion to rate your student's proficiency on the assigned textbook topics.
On the first attempt, your student earned at least 90% of the points available.
On the first attempt, your student earned between 60% and 90% of the points available.
On the first attempt, your student earned less than 60% of the points available.
Class Insights topics reflect sections of your textbook for which you have assigned work in WebAssign.
Before the due date, Class Insights data are not shown for assignments when either correct/incorrect marks or scores are not shown to your students. See Show or Hide Marks, Responses, and Scores. Class Insights data are shown after the due date.
