Include or Exclude Categories in the GradeBook

You can change GradeBook settings to include or exclude assignment categories.

  1. From the GradeBook, click Settings.
  2. Click the Basics tab.
  3. Under Categories to Include in GradeBook:

    Include an existing category Select Yes beside the category name.
    Exclude a category Select No beside the category name.
    Note If you remove the Personal Study Plan® category from your GradeBook calculations, the Personal Study Plan will revert to self-study.
    Create a new category Click Add Category, type the category name, and click go.
    Note You can't delete assignment categories in WebAssign. Only create categories that you will actually use in your classes.
  4. Click Save.

    If you don't want to update your GradeBook calculations now, first clear Update GradeBook.
