Add a Teaching Assistant

You can request a Teaching Assistant (TA) account for your course.

Requests will be responded to within one business day.
  1. Open the My Classes page.

    Click Tasks > My Classes Page and find the section you want.

  2. Click Edit Class Settings.
  3. Click the help button beside Access.
    A help bubble displays the following message:
    If you need assistance giving access to TAs or other instructors, submit a help request
  4. Click help request.
  5. Optional: To change the email address responses will be sent to, click in the Email Address box and enter the preferred destination email address.
  6. In How can we assist you?, select TA/Additional Instructor Request.

  7. Complete and attach the TA/Additional Instructor Request Form.
    1. Click Download TA/Additional Instructor Request Form to download the TARequestForm.xls Excel spreadsheet.
    2. Open the spreadsheet and complete the requested information.
    3. Save your changes to the spreadsheet.
    4. Upload the spreadsheet that you saved with your requested accounts.
      1. Click Browse or Choose File, depending on your browser.
      2. Navigate to the file you want to upload.
      3. Click Open or Choose, depending on your browser.
  8. On the Submit Help Request page, type your request in the box below Attach File.
  9. Click Submit. A confirmation email will be sent to your email address.
