# Display Choices in a Fixed Order

By default, the answer choices for multiple-choice questions are listed in random order. You can force the choices to be displayed in a specific order by setting the $ORDERED variable to the number of the correct choice and entering the answer choices in the sequence in which they should be displayed. 1. Start the first line of Answer with the following code: <eqn$ORDERED=n; ''>

where n is the number of the correct choice. The choices are numbered beginning with 1 for the choice on the first line of Answer.

2. Type the choices in Answer in the sequence in which they should be displayed.
