Share Assignments With Other Instructors

You can change sharing permissions for your assignments to control whether or not other instructors can schedule your assignments to their classes, or to collaborate with specific instructors when creating assignments.

  1. In the Assignment Editor, click ⋯ › Assignment Privacy Setting.

  2. Select the privacy setting you want to use.

    Private

    Only you can find, schedule, or edit the assignment.

    Restricted

    Other instructors cannot find the assignment by searching.

    If you give them the assignment ID, other instructors can schedule the assignment to their classes.

    Only you and instructors you specify can edit the assignment.

    Optional: To allow other instructors to edit the assignment, select a permission group.

    Public

    Other instructors can find the assignment by searching.

    Other instructors can schedule the assignment to their classes.

    Only you can edit the assignment.

  3. Click Apply.

  4. Click Save at the top of the assignment.
