View Scores and Grades as a Student

Using the Student View, if you have started or completed any assignment or course as a student, your progress, scores, and grades display. This is a good way to review the scoring grading behaviors you chose.

  1. From the Student View, select a course from the drop-down list.
  2. From the menu bar, click My Assignments.
    The My Assignments page opens as your students see it. If you have started or completed any assignment as a student, your scores and progress are displayed.
  3. Click an assignment to review assignment details, such as scores for individual questions and parts of questions.

  4. From the menu bar, click Grades.

    When all items are shown, your students see grade, category, and class statistics based on the last time the GradeBook was recalculated.

    letter grade
    Student's letter or pass/fail grade. Click it to see the grading scale.
    numeric score
    Student's numeric score. Click it to see the calculation details.

    Click it to see the score distribution for the class.

    Student's category averages or totals. Click scores to see calculation details.

    Note Category averages displayed in black were entered directly and not calculated by WebAssign. Hyphens indicate that no data are available.

    Mean, minimum, maximum, and standard deviation of class overall numeric scores.

  5. To see a summary of all of the raw scores and the class statistics for each assignment, if you posted these, click Raw Scores.
  6. When you are finished, click Close Student View at the top of the page.
