If needed, you can change some WebAssign assignment behaviors in your class settings. This lets you use the same assignments for different classes with different behaviors in each class. For example, you might give partial credit for correctly specifying units in a physics survey course, but not give partial credit for units in an introductory course for physics majors.
Highlighting randomized values is set only for your classes; all other settings can be overridden by your assignment settings.
