Course coordinators often see notifications in WebAssign for Ask Your Teacher messages and extension requests for sections they created but are not teaching.
This is normal and expected behavior. The creator of each course section has full permissions for that section and automatically receives Ask Your Teacher messages and extension requests for that section. This behavior cannot be turned off.
By default, the assigned instructors for each section also receive Ask Your Teacher messages and extension requests for that section.
To view only messages for a section you are teaching, select that section from the menu near the top of your Communication Home page.
