Change Randomized Value Highlighting for a Section

By default, randomized values in textbook questions on your assignments are highlighted for your students using a red typeface. You can configure your classes not to highlight randomized values.

Note When you write your own questions, you can prevent highlighting of randomized values. This setting overrides your class settings. WebAssign textbook questions, however, do not prevent highlighting randomized values.
  1. Open the Class Settings page.

    From My Classes, click Edit Class Settings.

  2. In the Class Settings page, click Advanced Options.
  3. For Highlight Randomized Text, select either Yes, in red or No.
  4. Click Save.
