When you reply to an Ask Your Teacher message, the conversation about that assignment question is automatically marked as answered. You can also manually mark a conversation as answered or unanswered.

You might want to mark an Ask Your Teacher conversation about a question as answered because you answered the student in another way, for example, in person or by email.
At the bottom of all of the messages for an assignment question, click either Move to Answered or Move to Unanswered.
The conversation for that assignment question is moved. Conversations about other assignment questions are not changed. Your student will not receive any notification that the conversation was moved.
