Concepts Survey
A concepts survey is administered at the beginning and end of the semester to see how much each student has learned. This multiple-choice survey requires no
special preparation or materials; it is simply a way to assess your current
understanding of key physics concepts. You will receive participation credit towards
your overall lab score for making a good-faith effort to complete both surveys to the
best of your ability (half credit for each survey). Although your performance on these
surveys will not directly affect your course grade, you should carefully read and
answer each question since you will not receive full credit for purely random or
systematic guessing.
Please bring your laptop to class as you will be entering your answers online. If you
do not have a laptop please contact the lab manager, Shane Brogan
(brogshan@physics.unc.edu), and arrangements will be made.
