Using Set Identities

This video first uses the element method to prove that for every set B, B ∪ B^c = U, where U is a universal set. It then introduces the algebraic method for set proofs to prove the identity in exercise 8 of Section 6.2. An element proof for this identity is shown in Appendix B.
