Set the Mastery Levels for a Personal Study Plan

You can set mastery-level indicators for chapter quizzes and practice quizzes. The mastery level is the target score that you want your students to aim for, and is indicated to your students when they view their Personal Study Plan® scores.

The default mastery level is 80%. You might want to change this to correspond with your grading scale.

Note The mastery level does not indicate completion of a section or chapter. It provides a goal for your students, and determines the score at which the progress bar changes from yellow to green.
  1. Open the My Classes page.

    Click Classes > My Classes and find the section you want.

  2. Click the Personal Study Plan tab.
  3. Click Settings.
    The Personal Study Plan settings window is displayed.
  4. Set the mastery level for chapter quizzes and practice quizzes.

    Select the mastery level you want for Mastery level for chapter quizzes.

    Select the mastery level you want for Mastery level for practice quizzes.

  5. Click Save.
