As high stakes assessments that are typically worth at least 10% of your students' final grades, tests and examinations require special consideration in WebAssign.
Usually, tests and examinations are timed and last around 50 minutes. Because of the length of the assignment and its impact on students' grades, you should allow question part submission. To deter guessing, deduct 20% of the point value for each submission after the first one.
To combat cheating, use security measures such as IP restriction, password protection, and LockDown Browser®. You might also require students to certify that they completed the work on their own or that they have complied with your school's honor code.
